These after school programs currently being run by The Work-Family Connection are in great demand. They are conveniently located to serve the needs of children from Mount Arlington, Califon, Long Hill Township, Alexandria Township, Roselle Park, Florham Park, Franklin Township, District of Chathams and Clinton Township.

The timings of the program are flexible, and start from the time the child is left from school, and will extend till 6.30 p.m. Children are offered a nutritious snack, and assisted in a homework club by staff. Other activities like games, music, computer education and scientific experiments are also offered, amongst others.

Summer Programs

A summer camp run by The Work-Family Connection is filled with fun, have a definite experiential learning component, and what is more, children find them enjoyable! There are 25 programs to choose from, and there is an offering and a combination of activities that will appeal to different types of children. Parents can be sure that their children will be kept occupied throughout the ten weeks of the summer break, and will have a great time as well.

The various activities on offer are swimming, science activities, field trips, sports, art, music, basketball and day camps. Parents no longer have to worry about keeping their children constructively occupied during summer. Child Care Programs

The Work-Family Connection offers parents the full day option or the extended day kindergarten service when it comes to child care programs. Theme Based Child Care Programs

Our Child care programs at summer camp are always based on a particular theme. So, you will find a nature theme based camp focusing on how to protect the forests. There will be lots of activities for the children based on the theme to enhance their understanding of the concepts in a practical way. In addition, the summer program from Work Family Connection incorporates field trips. Our staff will always make sure that a field trip is safe to undertake for the children at the program design stage.

Summer Programs for Children with Special Needs

In addition to the regular summer programs, we also run summer programs for little ones with special needs. The programs, staff to children ratio and activities are designed with the different needs of the children in mind. The camp at Montclair primarily focuses on such requirements.

The orientation meeting before the actual event will give you a clear idea of what to expect, how to best prepare the child and how you can keep track of the events at the camp.

Other activities at the summer camp include swimming, science activities, sports and art classes such as music and painting.
